About Us
How We Began
Our story begins in November 2014, when our very good friend, Jessica Padgett, had gone missing from her work, leaving her child behind, which was completely out of character for Jess. During that time, the community came together with the guidance of our Founder (Jim Wilkins), who led large-scale community volunteer search teams, and his fellow Wolfpack co-founders Chris Glass & Matt Cline. The fourth co-founder, Eric Brubacher, helped spread Jess’s picture and story through social media. Jess was missing for a total of 5 days, which tragically ended with her being the victim of homicide.
Although the outcome was not what we had hoped for, it was found that our skill sets & services were in short supply. Our community needed a dedicated group of volunteers to commit themselves to helping Police and families find missing loved ones. After the dust had settled, we, as a group of friends and family, wanted to honor Jess’s memory and help prevent future tragedy.
“Out of the ashes of tragedy, a WolfPack was born”
